About
Background, working standards, and how to reach me.
Amanda Richer is a displacement consultant, writer, and visual artist. Displacement is the human-rights frame her work lives in; homelessness is the specific, most visible form she knows deepest. She works at the intersection of homelessness policy, community health, and the One Health framework, which treats human, animal, and environmental wellbeing as fundamentally interconnected.
Her expertise comes from two kinds of direct knowledge, built over roughly a decade: frontline work (outreach, supply distribution, and harm reduction among unhoused communities) and her own experience of street homelessness. Both inform the work; neither is a footnote. It moves across journalism, policy writing, governance, embedded consultancy, and visual practice, held together by a single orientation toward universal human rights.
Her visual work, writing, and policy work are not separate disciplines synthesized into a brand. They are expressions of the same orientation, in different languages.
I build and direct AI-powered tools (resource platforms, a human-rights learning game, and field simulations) and use AI fluently across research, analysis, and communications. Final judgment, voice, and accountability are my own.
